Books, Wonderful Books Love books? Into recycling? Eager to promote literacy? Help with the Friends of the Pima County Library Book Sale, May 9-21. It's a busy time, but a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Volunteers greet and assist customers, stock books and work the checkout lanes.  Shifts run from 9am to 7 pm and are 3 - 4 hours long. Light to moderate physical activity is required. Required training, lasting about an hour, is available on Wednesday, April 30 at 1pm OR Saturday, May 3 at 10am. Plus... Volunteers can buy up to 6 books at half price for each shift worked!
