RSS XML FeedBackground Active Oct 25, 2006 to Nov 3, 2006

Use your phone etiquette and customer service training to help clients in a family assistance program at the state DES office at 316 West Ft. Lowell. Volunteers need knowledge of accurate filing, alphabetizing, the ability to follow written and oral instructions, and skills to work a multi-line switchboard.

In an eight hour day, paperwork and filing use about 50% of time, sorting paperwork and files use 20%, and phones use 50%.

Volunteers are needed for full or half days, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Orientation and interview at the Volunteer Center of Southern Arizona is required. Call 881-3300, ext. 107 for an appointment.

The DES Volunteer Program is administered by the Volunteer Center of Southern Arizona.

Sponsored by DES Volunteer Services.
