Pima County Health Department

The Mission of the Pima County Health Department is to promote and protect the health of the people of Pima County, Arizona through:

  • education and prevention

  • intervention and control of infectious and chronic diseases

  • assessment of community health

  • management of catastrophic emergencies and other threats to the well-being of the public.

There are many volunteer opportunities at the agency, including

·        clinic nurse assistant, Green Valley

·        data entry clerk, North Clinic

·        clinic inventory monitor

·        mobile clinic drivers  (on call)

·        senior wellness clinic assistant

·        translators (Spanish/English) for clinics

·        and more!
