1.8 Billion Candy Canes
RSS XML FeedBackground Active Dec 4, 2006 to Dec 12, 2006

Enough candy canes are eaten, in the six weeks prior to December 25, to wrap around the earth ten times if laid end to end.  Sweet!

Volunteers are sweet, too.  They make the holidays warmer and fill them with compassion and caring as they help the needy, homeless, and disadvantaged.

Check out holiday volunteering options by clicking back one page to the Welcome page and look for the section in the lefthand column marked "Holiday Opportunities".  All holiday opportunities are designated with a purple snowflake.

(We didn't have a candy cane icon.)

The Volunteer Center sends best wishes to you in this season and in the year to come.
