Amberly's Place provides services based on the victim needs in a neutral victim friendly environment. Amberly's Place will treat victims with dignity and respect while minimizing trauma and maximizing successful criminal prosecution.

Description:
Amberly's Place services include: on scene crisis intervention, medical evaluations, interviews of suspected victims, mental health referrals, and provision and coordination of other victim services. Amberly's Place provides specially trained crisis response advocates who can respond on scene 24 hours a day to offer victims support which aids in reducing trauma. Amberly's Place provides services to victims of child abuse both physical and sexual, domestic violence, sexual assault, and elderly abuse.

History:
Amberly's Place is a victim center in memory of a child victim of an unsolved homicide in Yuma named Amberly Mendoza. The Yuma Family Advocacy Coalition has established Amberly's Place providing an innovative, multi-disciplinary approach to an investigation, prosecution and intervention cases.

Amberly's Place is located off of 1st Street and 13th Avenue all the way to the end of 13th Avenue to the left hand side. The building that Amberly's Place is located in, was the old Housing Authority office.
