Amberly's Place is a victim center and provides services to victims of child sexual and physical abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence and elder abuse. It is a victim friendly environment where victims receive crisis intervention, referrals to community resources, and interviews by law enforcement and medical exams when needed. Volunteers will be assisting victims and their families through the first critical hours after the crime is reported. Volunteers will be "on call" on week nights and weekends. They can respond "on scene" with law enforcement or at Amberly's Place and provide crisis advocacy services. Please call Diane Umphress at 373-0849 to request an application.

Volunteers must be at least 21 years of age. There is a 24 hour extensive training. Victims need a warm smile and caring non -judgmental heart to guide them through the reporting process.
