Imagine being alone, hungry, and due to illness or injury unable to do basic things like cook your own meals. For Meals on Wheels clients this is no longer a concern. Our clients receive a friendly visit and two nutritious meals every weekday, even holidays! Our volunteers work hard, in teams of two or more, to deliver a few minutes of human contact everyday for our clients. Your family can help us with this important task.
Our Moms for Meals program was created to bring together families through youth-friendly volunteer opportunities. Stay at home moms can bring their little ones along for a ride. Grandparents can deliver meals with their grandchildren on summer or winter breaks from school. Fathers can volunteer with their sons to deliver meals on weekday holidays.
One or more members of your family must be able to drive and have access to the family vehicle.
You must be located in Anne Arudel County, Howard County, Harford COunty, Carroll County, Baltimore City or Baltimore County (Central Maryland).
