The McKinney Senior Recreation center offers recreation, leisure, wellness, and social opportunities to support healthy quality of life for adults ages 50+.

Description:
The McKinney Senior Recreation Center is an active community recreation center for adults ages 50+. We offer a wide variety of activities, classes, trips, and special events that support a healthy quality of life for senior adults. We offer drop-in games and activities such as Bingo, Bridge, Dominoes, painting, sports, wood carving, and many other games and activities. We also have classes such as art, computer tutoring, and seminars on important senior topics. There are social dances every Monday and on the first Friday of each month. We have exercise classes and wellness services & screenings on site. Trips, special events and parties are scheduled throughout the year as well. This is only a small part of what we do at the McKinney Senior Recreation Center! A membership fee of $5 for McKinney Residents or $10 for Non-Residents applies. We offer many activities free of charge after membership dues have been paid. Other program fees may apply to programs such as trips, educational classes, exercise & wellness programs, and special events. History:
The McKinney Senior Recreation Center was constructed by the City of McKinney and the McKinney Community Development Corporation in 2002.
