Embrace

Embrace is a community of like-minded professionals, individuals, churches, and families passionate about the needs of children in foster care, and those awaiting adoption. These children are facing the most difficult times of their lives, and we come along side them, to make each day brighter.

Description:
Embrace works with families to smooth the path to foster care and adoption. Embrace helps churches raise awareness and begin orphan care ministries. Embrace rallies members of the community to give of their time, talents and resources to improve the lives of children in foster care.

History:
Embrace was founded in 2006 at Rhea's Mill Baptist Church in McKinney, and has since grown to become an active force in Collin County and the Dallas/Ft. Worth area for the good of "waiting children". Began with a group of 10 interested volunteers, Embrace now has a board of directors, and 2 full time employees, two full-time volunteers and many volunteers who serve on a regular basis.
