Description:
CCCS provides comprehensive Financial Assessments, prepare custom budgets, provide debt options and also offer debt management if necessary.

CCCS also provides comprehensive HUD approved housing counseling for Pre-purchase, Pre-Rental, Foreclosure Prevention, Reverse Mortgage and Predatory Lending.

CCCS also provides FREE educational workshops/seminars on Saving, Tracking and Planning, Learning to Pay Debts Faster, Wise Use of Credit, and Teaching Kids to be Money Smart.

CCCS is nationally accredited and counselors are certified through the National Foundation for Credit Counseling, HUD and AARP. IN addition, CCCS has been approved by the US Trustees for Bankruptcy counseling and Education in conjunction with the new Bankruptcy law. We are also a member in good standing with the local Better Business Bureau.

CCCS is also proud of being named as the "Good Guys in the White Hats" after a federal investigation of the credit counseling industry.

History:
The agency was started in May 1980 in McKinney and has expanded its offices to 10 north central Texas cities. We are a member of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling, which was started nationally in 1951.
