The Battering Intervention and Prevention Program is a program based on changing thoughts and behaviors. Many people who have difficulty with inappropriate and criminal behavior want to change but do not know how. This program helps abusive individuals to identify belief systems that form the core of abusive behaviors. This program teaches some tools that, if used, will help abusive individuals to avoid becoming abusive in the future. The BIPP Assistant is responsible for providing clerical support for the Battering Intervention and Prevention Program. Duties include data entry in the Access Client Database, updating client information, interpreting data, producing data reports as needed, and providing other clerical support.
This individual should be proficient in Microsoft Access and Word. 1-on-1 training will be provided by the BIPP staff. Schedule is flexible and may be set during the day or evening.
