With the care and commitment of its volunteers, Children and Community Health Center won the 2009 Volunteer Group Award from Volunteer McKinney. To ensure CCHC continues to be a caring and sharing agency, urges new volunteers to become a part of this great clinic. CCHC is a free healthcare clinic for the uninsured indigent residents of northern Collin County. Tasks include scheduling appointments, taking phone calls, managing patient files, data entry and miscellaneous office tasks. Assistants work with the nurses and medical providers to make the patient's visit the best we can provide. Orientation and training are provided. Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.
