Help empower North Texans in living green at the fourth annual, regional Live Green Expo. More than 400 volunteer opportunities exist between 7:30am and 9:00pm on Saturday, April 17, 2010. Positions available include hosting shuttles, children's activities, staffing educational booths, and greeters. Some activities are posted as group-friendly.
We welcome your help in making this a successful and enjoyable event for those who attend. You will receive a job description and orientation so you can be prepared and confident in your position.
Allow time to walk from the volunteer parking or travel from the shuttles to Plano Centre, sign in at the volunteer check-in room, and arrive a few minutes early to your station. There will be a 30 minute overlap of shifts to allow on-the-job training.
Cell phones are not to be used while you are on duty. Childcare is not provided at this event.

You will receive a volunteer t-shirt at orientation on Friday, April 16th from 5:30-6:30pm at Plano Centre. Wear the Live Green Expo t-shirt with jeans, khakis, skirt or slacks, and comfortable shoes. After you have trained the next volunteer, be sure to sign out at the end of your shift.
