With the retirement of our ESL coordinator, we are seeking a volunteer who can coordinate the ESL classes. Classes have traditionally been held on both Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00pm using volunteer tutors. Volunteers are recruited by library staff to set up the tables and chairs and to assist with children's activities during the classes. Persons interested in this position should contact Lisa Bailey, Public Services Librarian, at lbailey@mckinneytexas.org
As the ESL coordinator, this requires preparing lesson plans, interviewing tutors, assessing students and other administrative duties. This opportunity is sponsored by: McKinney Public Library System
