Volunteer Opportunity Details:
| Last updated on July 15, 2009 |
In light of the current H1N1 Flu situation, our non-medical and medical volunteers are taking the opportunity to teach residents in Collin County how to stay healthy, diminish the spread of disease and how to be better prepared for any type of emergency or disaster. If needed, our volunteers may be asked to help with information gathering, manning a phone bank, or various other tasks that may need to be implemented during the upcoming flu season. There is no minimum amount of time or training that a volunteer must complete. They just need to let us know when they would like to help, or what Emergency Preparedness training or exercises they would like to attend-at no cost to our registered volunteers! This opportunity is sponsored by: Collin County Medical Reserve Corps
