Historic Downtown McKinney's premier festival, the 29th Annual Dickens of a Christmas...Home for the Holidays needs you. An old fashioned Christmas festival with with horse drawn carriages, strolling carolers, visits with Santa Claus, the Christmas Tree lighting and activities for all ages. We look to the McKinney community to bring the holiday cheer to this amazing magical event. We have many opportunities for you to get involved; from assisting with set up/tear down, event entrance greeters, to line control for Santa Claus and the Carriage Rides. We also have opportunity for you to volunteer as Dickens characters to bring an authentic feel to the event.  This opportunity is sponsored by: McKinney Main Street

From Highway 75, take the Louisiana/Virgina Exit (40A) and turn right at the signal light. Drive east for approximately two miles until you reach the downtown square. Turn right on Kentucky St. (the first signal light); turn left on Davis St. (the first stop sign); turn right again on Tennessee St. (first stop sign) and left on Anthony St. (first street on your left). We are in the one story building on your left (Annex B). |
