Volunteer Opportunity Details:

The National Conference on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Equality: Creating Change is a massive undertaking. This year it will take place in Dallas on Feb 3 - 7. Each year the number of sessions offered and the human resources needed to make the conference run smoothly is impressive. In order for this event to succeed we rely on the generosity and support of local volunteers. Volunteering with the conference is a great way to experience the work of the conference, both in sessions and behind the scenes, while getting to meet new people in your own community.

Volunteers will need to attend a one hour orientation on Sunday, Jan 31 between 12 Noon - 6 pm. During orientation, volunteers will sign up for at least a four hour shift. Those who fulfill their four hour shift will be able to attend the conference for free that day. There will be a volunteer appreciation party on Sunday night.
