Volunteer Opportunity Details:

McKinney Housing Authority understands that the decision to eat versus purchasing gas or having lights can be very real for the clients that we serve. During the holidays, we want to minimize the choice by providing food baskets.

Volunteers are needed in three (3) areas: 1) to assist in soliciting turkeys/hams and canned goods for approximately 150 families; 2) to assist in sorting and packaging the baskets and 3) to assist in the actual distribution of food baskets for the elderly.

From Plano, Tx take 75N to White. Exit White and turn east(right) continue east on White until it dead ends at Tennessee. Our office is the red brick building in front of you. From Melissa, Tx go south on 75 to Hwy 380. Exit 380 and turn east(left). Proceed east on Hwy 380 to Tennessee, turn right. Our office is about 2 blocks down on the left.
