The Heard Natural Science Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary is looking for a few good trail guides. Trail guides lead nature hikes on the wildlife sanctuary for schools, scout groups, individuals, or families. No previous experience is necessary. The Heard Museum is looking for people seeking to learn more about nature and enjoy life outdoors, with an enthusiastic attitude. Trail guides are needed Monday through Friday mornings and on weekends. Volunteers for Trail guiding must be 18 years old. Check our website for the general volunteer application. The application must be complete along with the background check and $7.50 fee. General volunteer orientation and specific trail guide training sessions are required and advanced registration is necessary. You will gain knowledge you can use for a lifetime! A volunteer commitment of 1 year is required after training is complete.
