The City of McKinney and Volunteer McKinney Center will announce a new volunteer driven home repair program for the City of McKinney. The H.E.A.R.T.H. (Hearts Energized and Ready to Help) program will assist McKinney homeowners not eligible for the city admiistered Housing Rehabilitation program.  It will match homeowners in need of home repairs with volunteer groups desiring and willing to help. We hope that representatives from church and civic groups along with other interested citizens will attend this meeting to hear about this program.  Volunteers will be needed for the steering committee that will assist in the implementation of this program. The meeting will also include announcements of current available volunteer opportunities and information on the next McKinney Make A Difference Day.
