Volunteer McKinney Center is creating the first Youth Volunteer Advisory Board in McKinney. This Board will be instrumental in creating new volunteer opportunities for our youth by working with the many organizations and agencies that utilize volunteers.  If you want to make a real impact in this community and you're not afraid of commitment to serve others, this is just for you! Board meetings will be held monthly at the new Cyclone Skatepark. Because this is a new program, you will be part of the beginnings of developing policies and procedures for this Board and the Youth program.  You will also work with local agencies to develop volunteer projects for youth to complete on a regular basis. The possibilities are endless! What a great way to Make A Difference and earn volunteer hours!  Come be part of an exciting possibility!  Youth between the ages of 16 and 20 are welcomed to apply.  We need representatives from the high schools, private schools, home schooled, churches and scouts!
