The SWIM Event is an environmental public education program sponsored by the City of McKinney. The program's goal is to raise awareness of storm water issues and encourage residents to protect water resources. Every storm water inlet in McKinney must be marked to deter residents from dumping trash and chemicals into the waterways.

We are looking for passionate volunteers who are interested in helping us keep our waterways healthy and clean by participating in the First Annual SWIM Event
Saturday July 25, 2009. This opportunity is great for Boy and Girl Scout groups to meet project requirements including leadership and teamwork, high school and college students who need volunteer hours, but all ages welcome! Join us!

Sponsored by City Of McKinney Storm Water Management.
