Egenolf Early Childhood Center

The primary objective of Egenolf Early Childhood Center is to stimulate social, artistic, intellectual, sensory, and physical development in each of our children while protecting their health in a safe environment.

Description:
Egenolf ECC creates a positive learning environment which the children can play and discover while developing a sense of independence and respect. Health screening and nutrition are integral components of our philosophy. The program is delivered by degreed, certified teachers and specially credentialled assistants in a class size of 15 children.Family Workers provide one-to-one guidance to families. The Executive Director is nationally recognized as a child advocate and has received the coveted Aletha Wright Award for Excellence in Early Childhood Education.

History:
Egenolf Early Childhood Center was established in 1890 to meet the child development needs of families whose parents were required to enter the workforce. History has changed very little through the centuries as most families require care for their children outside of the home due to work requirements. Parents who have chosen to improve their family situations through full-time educational opportunities also have found comfort knowing the early childhood professionals at Egenolf are caring for and educating their children. Stay-at-home parents choose Egenolf to advance the development of their children.
Studies have proven that quality early education provides children with the skill building and social/emotional development they require to be successful throughout school and life. Egenolf Early Childhood Center’s fully certified staff execute the curriculum with competence and expertise to maximize the potential of all children.
We are proud to have had the opportunity to provide quality service for many generations and we are happy to include your family in our history.
