The Wellness Community Of Central NJ (TWC/CNJ)

To help people affected by cancer enhance their health and well-being, through participation in a professional program of emotional support, education and hope.

Description:
We offer support groups, relaxation/visualization sessions, stress management programs, nutrition and healthy cooking programs,and workshops. We also have a Kids Connect/Parents Connect program for children and adolescents who have a parent with cancer. All programs are free of charge. All programs are run by trained facilitators under the supervision of our Program Director.

History:
TWC/CNJ was modeled after the original Wellness Community founded in Santa Monica by Harold Benjamin, Ph.D. in 1982. TWC/CNJ opened its doors on 11-9-04. We moved to our Bedminster location in June 2005 where we provide a homelike setting for all of our programs.
