History:
The YWCA EUC opened its doors in 1920 and since then has been serving the women and children of Union County. In response to the growing concern about domestic violence in Union County, the YWCA EUC established Project Protect in 1978 to provide shelter for abused women and their children. Other programs for victims of domestic violence have been established by the agency since then.
