The Alliance for Disabled in Action, Inc.(ADA) is a private, not-for-profit center for independent living serving people in Middlesex, Somerset and Union Counties of New Jersey. Initially created in 1986 as an Independent Living Resource Center (as part of JFK Johnson Rehabilitation), the Alliance was incorporated as a separate, private nonprofit organization in 1991.
