VolunteerWay Of Charlotte County

VolunteerWay serves the volunteer needs of Charlotte County, strengthens existing programs, and assists in the development of new initiatives.

Description:
The purpose of VolunteerWay is to build awareness and understanding of the importance of volunteerism. The VolunteerWay will assist the community in problem solving in relation to finding valuable volunteers. The VolunteerWay will provide training and consultation targeting the effective use of volunteers to the public, private, not-for-profit, and voluntary sectors of the community.

History:
VolunteerWay is an initiative of the United Way of Charlotte County, Inc., incorporated in 1966.
