Crossroads Wilderness Institute is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help youth-at-risk and to protect the public in Southwest Florida. Our role is to provide education, mentoring and discipline to better help our youth become productive members of society. Our goal is to be the best service provider along with the Department of Juvenile Justice for youth-at-risk.

Crossroads Wilderness Institute (CWI) was established in 1986 as an Institute which finds solutions for the adolescent crime issues that face south Florida. As a residential rehabilitation organization, we have developed a program that works with youthful offenders in an educational and wilderness environment.

CWI's partnership with the wilderness environment brings about far more growth and change than occurs with other methods or in other settings. Our combination of academic skills, vocational training community service and structured outdoor education component places an emphasis on discipline and behavior modification.
