Description:
Charlotte Local Education Foundation is a Florida 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and, as a Florida Statute-established local education foundation, is the direct support organization (DSO) for Charlotte County Public Schools. As such, the Foundation's fundraising events and educational programs exclusively benefit children who attend Charlotte County Public Schools.

Currently our initiatives include Take Stock in Children, a statewide, non-profit organization that has a proven record of helping low-income children stay out of trouble, graduate from high school, attend college, and become productive citizens. We also run the Teacher Supply Depot which provides new and used school, office, art, and craft supplies, as well as recyclable items for free to Charlotte County Public Schools educational staff for their students and classrooms, as well as to all teachers at private schools and non-profit organizations.
