Senior Friendship Centers, Inc. dedicate ourselves to helping older adults live with dignity and respect by providing services which address their needs, including remaining independent, preventing isolation and loneliness, and improving quality of life and health for seniors.

Description:
The Mission of Senior Friendship Centers/Charlotte RSVP is to encourage the spirit of volunteerism and to engage individuals 55 and older in local non-profit organizations where their talents will benefit the community. We have many volunteer opportunities that are age friendly, with special emphasis on tutoring and mentoring children, protecting the environment, supporting health care organizations, and relieving isolation of our elders. We also participate in two national days of service, the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service on the 3rd Monday in January and Make a Difference Day on the last Saturday in October.
