Volunteer Opportunity Details:

With professional support, volunteers provide "Littles" with one-on-one time and attention in their communities, typically two to four times a month. During these unstructured outings they cultivate relationships that provide children with skills to manage everyday challenges. Through simple friendship, "Bigs" experience the joy of helping children discover a world of possibilities and opportunities. A recent impact study shows that Little Brothers and Little Sisters are less likely to use illegal drugs or alcohol, less likely to engage in acts of violence, and have greater self-esteem and confidence. Now that you know, will you help? Call 941-625-6164 Monday - Friday, 9AM to 5PM. Contact us today, and let the magic in your life begin!
Volunteers must have a background check and a traffic check. We provide professionally supported, on-going help. Orientation addresses topics including safety, ways to get started with your Little, building trust in your relationship, etc. This opportunity is sponsored by: Big Brothers Big Sisters Of Charlotte County, Inc.
We need volunteers who are free at these times
