All Hands United to Help!
The VolunteerWay
VolunteerWay is here to serve you, the volunteer, that Charlotte County depends on! In the tradition of volunteer centers, we also work to promote volunteering, strengthen existing programs, and assist in the development of new initiatives.
VolunteerWay works to build awareness and understanding of the importance of civic engagement, and to provide volunteers with a meaningful, possibly life-altering, experience. VolunteerWay assists the community in problem solving by matching valuable volunteers with the organizations addressing the problems they care about. The VolunteerWay will also provide training and consultation targeting the effective use of volunteers to the public, private, not-for-profit, and voluntary sectors of the community.
VolunteerWay is an initiative of the United Way of Charlotte County, Inc., which was incorporated in 1966.
