Girls Scouts - Dakota Horizons provides a wide range of activities which helps girls build self esteem, relate to others with respect and understanding, develop values to guide their actions and make sound decisions and contribute to the improvement of society. The Girl Scout program is designed to meet developmental, educational, and social needs of girls.

History:
In 2007, Girl Scouts - Dakota Horizons formed from 6 existing councils into one creating not only a larger council, but a more unified way of reaching out and serving more girls.
