The Furniture Mission is a non-profit organization established in January of 2003 with a Mission Statement of "Making Houses into Homes". The Purpose Statement is "As a non-profit, nondenominational community organization of volunteers, our purpose is to share the love of Christ through the acceptance and distribution of gently used furniture to those in need.

Description:
We are a mission supported by the people of our community who donate gently used furniture, volunteer their time and talents, and help us with monetary donations used towards our daily operating expenses. This furniture is delivered, by volunteers, to individuals and families who have been referred to us by other referral agencies in the Sioux Empire. There is always a need for help, whether it be at a regularly scheduled time at the warehouse/office or as your schedule allows. WE GREATLY NEED VOLUNTEER GROUPS ON EVENINGS AND SATURDAY MORNINGS. WE ALSO NEED INDIVIDUAL VOLUNTEERS DURING THE WEEK FOR A 4 HOUR COMMITMENT (NOON TO 4:00 P.M.)TO PICKUP AND DELIVER FURNITURE
