Volunteer Opportunity Details:

This is an opportunity to assist outpatient veterans by helping them register for their lab appointments. These veterans are arriving for their lab appointments prior to seeing their physicians. The successful candidate will greet the veterans, assist them in swiping their ID card in the card reader, and answering any questions they may have.

This person must be able to meet and interact with the public. The volunteer will receive general VA orientation training and specific instruction on laboratory procedures. This is an ideal position for someone with physical limitations, as very little standing or walking is required.
