"TAKE FLIGHT ... VOLUNTEER AT THE SERTOMA BUTTERFLY HOUSE!"
A "Flight Room Attendant" spends a two-hour shift in the butterfly house conversing with visitors of all ages and abilities about neo-tropical butterflies from Asia, Costa Rica, Africa, and North America. Share in the knowledge that you increase a visitors' enthusiasm for learning new and fun butterfly facts. The environment of the Flight Room is warm, humid, bright and relaxing and is a great space for visitors and volunteers to renew friendships and bond with family members. The flight room is an enjoyable atmosphere to participate in and meet people that love butterflies and plants.

The Sertoma Butterfly House is seeking volunteers who can work while standing and walking. A friendly,outgoing and positive attitude while interacting with the public is necessary. Our volunteer will also need to be able to work in a warm, humid environment. No experience required, we provide training. Butterfly knowledge is acquired as you become more familiar with them. Everyday you will learn something new and thus something new to share with visitors. If possible, we ask for a commitment of 2 hours per week.
