Serve up some Christmas cheer at the Edgewood Centre's annual Christmas Eve Day Brunch! We are looking for volunteers to assist with the set up, serving and cleanup of this special event. Volunteers are needed between 8:30-2:30 on Thursday 12/24/09. Brunch will be served at 11:00. Your participation in this event will help ensure that our residents and their families enjoy this special holiday celebration. Families and groups are welcome to volunteer for the whole day or for a portion of time. We hope you will accept this invitation to share in the magic and warmth of the holiday season with the Edgewood Centre family. Volunteers should be able to participate in basic meal set up and service, enjoy being with elders and possess a positive attitude. Basic orientation will be provided. From the Portsmouth Traffic Circle, take Rt. 1 South to the lights at Greenleaf Ave. Turn Left. At stop sign turn left onto Middle Street. Proceed to next light and turn right on South Street. Continue to second blinking yellow light and Edgwood is on the right. Go to the bottom of the hill to find the facility.
