Come be part of the annual tree lighting ceremony and festivities at the Edgewood Centre and light up the lives of our wonderful residents. We are looking for a 6-8 warm spirited folks to assist us with this holiday tradition on Thursday 12/3/09 from 6:00pm-8:30pm. Volunteers will help serve refreshments, socialize with the residents and assist with lighting our many indoor and outdoor holiday decorations. We hope you will join us for one of our favorite holiday happenings. Volunteers should possess a positive attitude and feel fairly comfortable with elders.Basic orientation will be provided. From the Portsmouth Traffic Circle, take Rt. 1 South to the lights at Greenleaf Ave. Turn Left. At stop sign turn left onto Middle Street. Proceed to next light and turn right on South Street. Continue to second blinking yellow light and Edgwood is on the right. Go to the bottom of the hill to find the facility.
