Warmth For The Millyard event begins December 1, 2009. Teams of volunteers from the Manchester, NH area join local businesses and non-profit organizations to work on an on-going service projects. This is event is a great way to develop new relationships, network with other businesses, strengthen team-building and leadership skills, market your community involvement and help the needy.
Please remember these vital tips for searching for and selecting your Day of Caring projects:
- sort the project listing by non-profit agency name by clicking the "Agency" column heading. Sorting the list this way will enable you to see the total number of projects and total number of volunteers needed by each agency. This is particularly helpful to know if your team wants to stay together at one location.
- As best you can, try to match the skills and number of volunteers on your team to the skills and total number of volunteers needed for a project.
- When assigning a name to your group, please use the following format: Company name-Team leader name ~ example: United Way-Valerie Guy
- Please input the name and email addresses, if appropriate, of your volunteers.
