We are a volunteer-driven, charitable organization with the mission of providing education, hope, support, and advocacy for families and individuals affected by mental illness. NAMI Mercer is New Jersey's largest affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

NAMI Mercer offers free, professionally developed classes and special workshops. Our organization brings you together with others who face mental illness or who care for a loved one with mental illness. NAMI Mercer is dedicated to improving the lives and fostering the dignity of all Mercer County individuals and families affected by mental illness, regardless of age, sex, race, or ethnic group.Many of our members and volunteers are courageous survivors of mental illness who lead satisfying and productive lives.

History:
NAMI Mercer is celebrating its 25th Anniversary this year and we continue to grow in membership and have extensive plans for increasing and deepening our impact on those in need of our services. From and office in a private home we have grown to a professional suite in Lawrenceville that incorporates an education room, office space for helpline volunteers, onsight counselors, full-time paid staff and volunteer program leaders.
