Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Ushers are an integral part of McCarter’s Patron Services. They greet the patrons as they arrive at the theater, direct them to the performance that they are attending, assist with preparing the programs for each performance, assist patrons in finding their seats, answer questions about the performance, theater and surrounding area, and monitor the theater lobbies during the performance. Performances include evening, morning and afternoon programs.

If interested, please contact Tim Hinton at thinton@mccarter.org or Deb Lemeshow at dlemeshow@mccarter.org with contact information and the times you would be available (weeknights, Saturday or Sunday evenings, et cetera). Volunteers will be contacted for training and scheduling when performances draw near. Groups are welcome.

Ushers must be able to get up and down stairs and stand for long periods of time to perform their duties.
