BE A QUARTER LEADER

If you are a young adult 30 years of age or under who believes in the importance of teen volunteerism, we have a volunteer leader position with a chapter of Quixote Quest, the New Jersey volunteer service club for teens with a Chapter in Mercer County

This position, called Quarter Leader, is for the person who would like to help teens come together as a community service fraternity/sorority. It requires someone who had the desire and personality to connect with a dedicated group of 20 teens from different high schools who have made a major commitment to volunteer once per week during the school year.

The Quarter Leader in each club (there are usually two) come to two evening meetings per month and quite often will participate in a 3 hour group service project once a month...normally on a Saturday or Sunday with the teens. The better the teens connect with each other...the more of a family they become...and the better the spirit and retention is with the group.

Quixote Quest is a very special calling for teens and you will meet some extraordinary kids who go the extra mile to help others. The teens run their club but it is important to have an older figure to smooth out the bumps and give advice where needed.

The two monthly meetings for QQ Mercer County are in Hamilton and go from 7:00 to 9:00. Contact us if interest by email at qquest2002@yahoo.com so we could meet to discuss the position. The volunteer assignment lasts only during the school year and officially ends at the end of May each year.
