Volunteer Opportunity Details:
| Last updated on April 30, 2009 |
The American Lung Association fights the diseases and environmental poisons that damage the lungs of the people of New Jersey. We are fighting for healthy lungs and clean air for all. More than 35 million Americans suffer from lung disease with over 1.5 million in New Jersey alone. The Walk for Life and Breath is a 5K fundraising event being held at Somerset County's beautiful Duke Island Park. Teams are being formed now for what will be a fun-filled family-oriented walk. Volunteers are needed on race day to set-up, staff the registration table, information tables, water stations and to help serve and clean up lunch after the event. This opportunity is sponsored by: American Lung Association in New Jersey
