Volunteer Opportunity Details:

United Way of Passaic County (UWPC) is asking for your help with this year's Backpacks for Kids program. Because a substantial number of local children start the school year without the necessary supplies, we are again coordinating a school supply drive to benefit students in need.
Our goal this year is to distribute 1,000 backpacks filled with school supplies to school-age children in need throughout Passaic County. Can we do it? Yes! But only with your help. Your commitment to helping us reach this goal will provide hundreds of children with the basic tools they need to succeed in school. The toolkit is easy to follow, so please encourage your coworkers to participate! And remember, the summer months are when stores gear up for back-to-school by running great sales on school supplies; take advantage of those bargains! The more you collect the more children we help together.
