Volunteer Opportunity Details:

The New Jersey Unit of Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic seeks volunteers to produce accessible educational texts for its members who are blind, visually impaired or dyslexic. Our volunteers are involved in all aspects of the recording process, from preparation to reading to quality control. Volunteers begin with the directing and checking jobs which teach our reading conventions and recording software.

You must be at least a rising high school junior to volunteer. You need basic computer skills. We ask our volunteers for at least one-and-a-half hours per week and year's commitment.
