Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Many of the clients who come to TASK do not have stable housing, leading to an increased risk of winding up on the streets. Coupled with the lack of financial resources to obtain seasonal clothing, winter presents a great health and safety risk to these men, women, and children.

But YOU can personally ensure that they have the warm clothing to make it through the winter.

We are in need of the following items:

· Winter jackets or sweatshirts, either large, extra large, or larger.

· Hats and gloves

Easy, Fun & Rewarding. This is such a nice place with even nicer people!

I began volunteering every Thursday in December 2006. At first I was nervous as it was my 1st time and I did not know what to expect. We started with just one day and couldn't wait to go back. It is a nice part of town and a lovely church. We have made friends and have felt that we have touched the lives of our patrons. We look forward to our time a Task south.
