Homeless Count Survey Volunteers Needed
RSS XML FeedBackground Active Jan 7, 2008 to Jan 26, 2008

Collecting good data on the numbers, needs, and characteristics of the homeless people living in our community is critical to meaningful planning and program development.   The data provided by the 24-hr street count helps service providers to : Plan future services that meet the needs of our community's homeless; demonstrate the community's need when attempting to access additional resources; raise public awareness about homelessness;understand changes in trends among homeless populations; accurately measure the needs of populations that are the hardest to serve; and measure our community's performance in eliminating homelessness.
